I'm Chelsea - a family and wedding photographer for joyful, adventurous, heart-centered, fun-seeking families and couples. My mission is cultivating a comforting space for families and couples to be seen and feel seen, and I have built my business on that principle. I operate out of consideration and take your feedback into planning so that I can provide you with a level of comfort throughout the planning process.

Here is how I do that:

• We will meticulously plan your session and I’ll be in contact with you leading up to the big day. We will establish what you like, what you don’t like, and your expectations so I can craft your individual experience to give you the outcome you want.

• We will get to know each other so it’s never awkward. I want you to enjoy your session with me and feel like you can speak up if things are not what you expected. Want to jump on facetime to meet before the session? Let’s do it! If you prefer texting because you’re busy, that’s cool too. I’ll consider your preferences and ask up front, so I know the best way to foster a friendly relationship from our first interaction.

• I provide you with a clear timeline of things, what to expect, guidance on outfits, and more so you are over-prepared. A tonnnn of my clients have my personal cell number saved for when they are out shopping or shopping in their closet. I’ll be your planning bestie.

• I deeply care about your comfortability, your expectations, and our working relationship. I write everything down, so you know I’ve got you covered and not forgotten.

• I craft my experience as a safe space, so you are always able to say, “Hey Chels, that felt weird. Did it look weird?” and I can give you live feedback and pose you from there. You are free to speak up, and I want you to speak up!

• I deliver a mix of posed and candid shots in your final gallery. I do this through posing you and moving around you to get the best angles (and I promise, I know the best angles - I have mentored under several well-known photographers). I’ll also provide prompts to get those candid shots that are genuinely you.

• I am not a perfectionist when shooting, but a perfectionist when editing. I have my editing down to a science, so you don’t have to worry about unwanted stuff in the background or looking overly different in your final images - just enhanced. You will still look like you! I’d like to mention here that I do not edit body composition or anything that cannot be naturally healed in 10 days. This ensures that my edits are genuine to who you really are, and it protects the integrity of my work.

In my heart of hearts, I'm a creator and entrepreneur. I am a mom, a wife, and a businesswoman with a dream of going to the holy land for baptism one day. My most favorite childhood memories were spent around my grandmother’s shoeboxes full of photos as she told stories of loved ones past and present. Those stories and moments were frozen in time through photographs. I also can't remember a time without my mom with a camera in her hand.
